This is an update to our Notice of Surcharge Update dated July 12, 2024, with regards to the application of Equipment Management Charge (EMC). Please kindly be advised that the following changes will be made.
1) The Surcharge shall be renamed to Local Other Fees (LOT).
2) Pay Term shall be applicable as Prepaid/Collect in Malaysia.
3) Effective start date shall be moved to September 28, 2024; Billing under EMC shall not commence.
4) The Surcharge is to cope with the increased Equipment Management complexity & cost in Malaysia.
The new level will be applicable as Prepaid/Collect on all outbound/inbound shipments in Malaysia across all trade lanes and services and will be valid till further notice.

Starting from January 1st, 2024, maritime transportation industry has been included in the scope of European Union Emission Trading System (hereinafter referred to as “EU ETS”). In relation to the announcement made on December 1st, 2023, ONE has reviewed and updated the EU ETS tariff, which will come into effect from July 1st, 2024. This will apply to all existing contracts and new contracts that have commenced on and after January 1st, 2024. The tariff shall be reviewed every quarterly; however, this is subject to change with prior notification.

Notice of Surcharge Update (To MY)

Thank you for your continued support and for choosing Ocean Network Express (ONE) to cater to your needs.

Please kindly be advised that in order to continuously provide a reliable service to our customers, ONE will revise the Collection of Container Cleaning Fee (CCC). The new level will be applicable To Malaysia across all trade lanes and services and will be valid till further notice.

We are pleased to announce that ONE has officially appointed Ben Line Agencies (B) Sdn. Bhd. (“BLAB”) as ONE’s sub-Agent in Brunei effective from 20th September 2023 and all ONE’s services calling at Muara Port will be managed by Ben Line Agencies from the effective date.

The new level will be applicable to/from Brunei across all trade lanes and services and will be valid till further notice.
